I love living in my small town of Haddonfield NJ. Every Saturday morning during the summer months, there is a Farmer’s Market in King’s Court, the town center. Live music streams in from the gazebo at the end of the brick courtyard, while two rows of trees provide shade from the hot sun. A heart shaped metal sculpture at the end of the block is a popular place for photos.

What Drexel University students taught me

When I was in second grade, my family moved from a suburb of Philadelphia to Cinnaminson New Jersey, a small town just outside of the city across the Delaware River. Fun fact, Cinnaminson is derived from a native american word meaning, “sweet water”. I remember coming home from my new school in tears, mainly because I was embarrassed to be academically so far behind my peers. In fact, I had trouble reading anything at all!
